csa week 21



I’ll be honest–last week I just threw out the fennel–it was a small bulb and I didn’t have the energy to figure out what to do with it. Everything else is being put to good use.  I baked all of the squash and sweet potatoes and have been using them in place of pumpkin puree in different breads and muffins.  We’re still eating on the gigantic stalk of Brussels sprouts we got; I’m hoping we get one stalk tomorrow in our final bag.  Our farm was considering doing a winter CSA share, but they’ve decided not to.  However, we do have a Thanksgiving bag to look forward to in about a month!
