The produce is expanding by leaps as the summer speeds by. There weren’t any “new” veggies in our bag during week 9, but everything is BIGGER. So much so, that Spud deemed the zucchini and carrots worthy of their own separate portraits, which he took himself. I made a delicious cuke/carrot/cabbage slaw with peanut dressing with half of the Napa cabbage, and these zucchini boats were very flavorful. I still haven’t done anything with that stinking kohlrabi, but I’ve been looking back over everyone’s helpful suggestions–I will not let it go to waste! We’re off soon to pick up this week’s bag–can’t wait to see what’s inside!
