yarn along ~ march 30

On the hook—My first foray into crochet in quite awhile: the Dorothea Dishtowel.  The kitchen linens are in great need of a revival around here.  Never mind that I realized I was double-crocheting incorrectly just yesterday . . . moving on . . . .  (Thanks to those of you who suggested dishcloth patterns last week—those are up next!)
Off the bookshelf—Searching Peter Reinhart’s Whole Grain Breads for some inspiration, consulting Deborah Madison for help with in-season cooking (in anticipation of garden-fresh veggies) and revisiting one of my favorites: Pride & Prejudice for the class I teach.
